VLVFeb01

Hi! It's almost the end of Friday. And I'm getting sleepy, but I wanted to do this card before I go to bed. :-)

I made this card for the new Verve sketch with a twist challenge for the month of February, VEVFeb01. I used Cuttlebug's Textile embossing folder for dry embossing. I'm not sure what the cardstock is from, but the dp is from Imaginations. The stamp is by Kathy Davis for Inkadinkado. I colored it with Le Plume II markers and stamped the image. I sponged around the edges with Wheat by VersaMagic. I doubled my ribbon behind the image and placed a bow at the top with a clip. the half-pearls are from Kaiser. I'm pleased with how this card turned out!

Thanks a bunch for lookin'!

Presents CPS100, MFTWUW13

Hi! I created this card using CPS100 sketch and MFTWUW13 sparkle. I added a sparkly rhinestone to the flower, three rhinestones below the image panel, I added a sticker from K & Company that already had the green rhinestone, and added Fruit Punch stickles and spring Flower Soft to the sticker. The stickles is really a dark pink, not the red that shows in the image! I added a ribbon and a clip and bow because that corner looked rather empty... it may be just a bit much??? the image is from MFT "You Take the Cake". I colored it with Prisma colored pencils. I softened the edges with Brilliance Pearlescence Orchid. The flowers are Prima. The paper is from The Paper Company.

Hi There CC203, SC213

Hi there! This card was created for 2 SCS challenges: Tuesday's color challenge and today's sketch challenge. I used DCWV cardstock for my card. I used their version of Garden Green as the base of each panel. For the bottom panel I used "Baja Breeze" and embossed it with Cuttlebug's Swiss Dots folder. The second panel I used "Pacific Point" and embossed it with Cuttlebug's Spots and dots. I put a double ribbon around that panel under the image panel. I trible matted the image panel and popped it out on small pop dots. I colored the stamped image with Prisma colored pencils and Gamsol, the stamped it again, colored it and cut it out, popping it up on small pop dots. I used a Prima flower with a bow from the above mentioned ribbon in the center and popped it out on small pop dots. I finished the card with three blue rhinestones under the image. That's it!

Hugs and Kisses House Mouse #22, MOJO71

This card is for two challenges: MOJO Monday 71 and House Mouse Monday Challenge #22. The MOJO challenge is a sketch challenge on a square card, and the House Mouse challenge is for paper piercing. I pierced all four corners on the mauve, pierced all around the mat for the image, and pierced the mat for the phrase. I used Imaginations dp behind the image and phrase. I put a pink and a green ribbon behind the image and included bows at the tops. I put a bow on a clip on the phrase. I placed Kaiser pink rhinestones at the bottom of the image panel and at the right top corner. The image is colored with Prisma colored pencils and Gamsol and the hearts are enhanced with Fruit Punch Stickles, as is the heart on the phrase. The phrase, Hugs and Kisses, is computer generated. I mounted the image with square Nestabilities and cut out the phrase with the small scalloped square Nestabilities.

This was a fun dual challenge. Thanks a bunch for lookin'!

This is a close up of the computer generated phrase and the piercing.

Birthday parade PBSC Week 33

I did this stamp for a two-fold mission: For the PB Weekly Challenge (week 33) and for my baby girl's 32nd birthday in February. I love this stamp. It's a bit large, though, for the challenge. I'm not sure I'm happy with the way it turned out.
I colored the image with Prisma colored pencils and Gamsol, and applied Stickles to the balloon, the candle, and to the little dots around the cake. Doesn't show up very well in the picture. I put tiles around the bottom of the frame, and pink rhinestones at the upper corners. I put a contrasting strip and ribbon across the top. It just seems to be lacking something. I think I'm so used to multiple layering that this card seems a little plain, I guess. Give me your feedback and let me know what you think!
Thanks a bunch for lookin'!
