2) Copics Color Challenge #52

       b) R11
       c) G21
3) ABC -O = One paper
4) 2S4Y #46 Sketch
5) A Spoonful of Sugar #71 Spring is in the Air

I got this stamp last summer in the summer collection. I colored her with the following Copics:
R11, 14, 22
E00
C1, 3
Y11, 21
G000, 21

I used a red from SU as the base of the card. The dp is from my stash, I think Basic Grey. The pearls are Kaiser, the bows (ribbon) Offray. The punch under the image is MS. I put tiny green pearls under the flower and inthe center of the flower. I only used one dp. And it's a very springy card, don't you think???

Tell me what you think! Thanks a bunch for lookin'!

House Mouse, 2S4Y, Copics color challenge

Hi, again! I visited my daughter and her family over the weekend, and so I'm trying to catch up on my cards! I made this card for 3 challenges: House Mouse #62, 2S4Y #45, and Copics Color Challenge #49. The 2S4Y challenge was to make a round card. The challenge for House Mouse was a valentine, and the Copics challenge was to use: E00 Skin White, E33 Sand, and R02 Flesh. I had a three of these! Often I have one of the three, sometimes none, once in awhile, 2. But not all 3! I colored the mouse's ears, nose, tail, "hands" and feet with E00, the outline of the hert with R02, and the ground under the mouse with E33. I anso used R27 for the red of the heart. I sponged around the image with red chalk. I used Stampabilities Monica Romances HMER10104 for the image. I embossed the card with CB's Heart Blocks folder. The ribbon is from Michael's Valentine's Day. The sentiment is from Studio G Clear Stamps. I cut the card and image and mat with Nestabilities circles and scallops. I used Inkssentials white opaque pen to make white dots around the red scallop. The image and sentiment were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black.
That's it. Thanks a bunch for lookin'!

The ribbon is BasicBasic and the flowers are PrimaFlowers and the rhinestones are from Kaiser. The image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black. The sentiment is from my daughter's stash.

CPS148 and Copic Color Challenge #46

This card was made for CPS 148 and Copic Color Challenge #46. I had made it a few days ago, but didn't have any glue! Now I have glue and can catch up on my card making :>)
I colored the image with Copics R46, C1, C3, E04, G21, G09, G000, B32 and RV13. The color challenge was to use G00, RV21, and B32. I only had one of the colors, but got as close as I could to the others. The paper is from Little Yellow Bicycle and Americal Craft. The ribbon is Offray. The pink rhinestones are Kaiser. The image is from my daughter's stash.
Thanks a bunch for lookin'!

Copics Color Challenge #8, I heart Sketch

This card: well, I wasn't sure what to do with it when I started! I don't have RV29, E57 or YG67, so I used RV00 and RV13, E35 and E3y and YG06 and YG25. The image is either Stampendous or Inkadinkado (my daughter's stash). I colored the top with the two RV colors and the cupcake paper with the E35 & E37 and also the YG colors. I found cs that was close to the colors called for, put a piece of dp behind the image and side panels. I put a piece of ribbon (Offray) behind as awell. I used Primaflowers and brads on the panels. It needed something else, so I stacked three flowers for the upper right corner. Turned out pretty cute, even if i do say so!

Thanks a bunch for lookin'!

Copics Color Challenge

This is for Copics color challenge this week to use R22 - light prawn, E47 - dark brown, and B12 - ice blue. I do have R22, but used E33, 35 and 37 for browns; and B02 and baby blue for the blues. As seen in the photo above, I used several Copics to color this picture. I actually enjoy coloring pictures like this! (When I was pregnant with my second child, I didn't sleep well, so I would get up and color in my daughter's coloring book until I felt like I could go to sleep!) This image really reminds me of spring. I love birdhouses, watering cans, flowers, and fences, so I just had to have this stamp by Northwoods. It's a cute image I think. The cardstock is by GA Pacific.
Thanks a bunch for lookin'!

Just hangin' out!

I have a hard time yet creating my own layouts :-( so I still use challenge sketches to help me out. This card was made for the High Hopes Sketch Challenge #17 and I combined it with the very first Copics challenge!

I usually go by the sketch first then choose a stamp (is that backward???), but this time I selected my stamp and colored it with Copics. The colors for the challenge were:
B28 - Royal Blue
V06 - Lavender
YR07 - Cadmium Orange

I used:
B24 - Sky
BV31 - Pale Lavender
YR07 - Cadmium Orange

I also used: YR04: Chrome Orange; B32: Pale Blue; RV13 Tender Pink; YG06: Yellowish Green; G09: Veronese Green; W3: Warm Gray #3; W5 Warm Gray #5

I found cardstock that matched fairly closely to my image. I layered the main background, ending up with blue on top; orange for the second layer, and topped it off with blue and a shade of lavender with the image on top of that. I used an orange ribbon and a bow on the image, a blue gingham ribbon behind the image, and a lavender gingham ribbon at the bottom left of the card. I used denim 1/2 pearls from Kaiser in the upper left corner of the card. The phrase is computer generated.

This was a fun card to make, and a fun sketch to follow.

Thanks a bunch for lookin' and have a blessed week!
