This card is also for two challenges: Today's ColorCreate to use Kraft, Blue and White, and the sketch challenge from SCS, SC263. The card stock is DCWV and the dp is from The Paper Patch. The ribbon is Offray, the small pearls are Kaiser, and the gems are generic. I think the sentiment is from SU, it's from my daughter's stash, and I'm not sure about that.

The ovals were cut out with Nestabilities.

Scares to you

This card was made for two challenges over at Split Coast: WT242 and SC252. WT's challenge was to use purple, and SC's challenge was the sketch. I used DCWV's cardstock for the purple card base, and SU's green behind BasicGrey's LilyKate dp. The bottom purple is also LilyKate. The ribbon is BasicBasic, and the green rhinestones are from Kaiser. I colored the image with Copics and sponged the background with chalk. The image is from my daughter's stash. Hey, I'm getting my groove back! :) I made this card for SCS's color challenge and sketch challenge. The image is borrowed from my daughter (don't know what it is). I used black, sort of a kraft and a sunny yellow and a red. I got the idea to do different CB embossing folders on the yellow panels from a SCSer, Roxie, aka Rox71. I used red pearls from Kaiser in the corners and a krafty ribbon, again on the corners. I used a white pen to highlight the scallops and colored the image with Copics. It has a rather springy feel, don't you think?

It's still love ABC Anniversary Challenge

Hey there! It's Wednesday and a beautiful day today in Northern Fla! I made this card for 3 challenges, actually. I used today's SCS sketch challenge215 as my guide, I made an anniversary card for today's ABC - A = Anniversary, and I used metal for last Thursday's cute card challenge to use some metal :-).

I used green cardstock as the base of the card (over white), put hearts dp for the anniversary part, and used a House Mouse stamp for the cute part! I used blue (to go with the wheelbarrow) as a second layer for the sc, and paper pierced it. You can almost see it! Then I used red (to go with the flowers and heart dp) as the mat for the image. The image is colored with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol. I used a double ribbon (again as part of the sc), and created a bow with the sheer ribbon and attached it with a metal clip. I popped out the image part (including red mat) on foam squares.

SCSSC214 Birthday parade

I made this Penny Black card for Natalie's birthday card from her Grandmother, whom I'm taking care of. I used the Happy Birthday embossing folder from Cuttlebug on the red panel. You can almost see it! The image is from Penny Black. I colored it with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol, then sponged around the edges with a Dew Drop ink pad. I used Diamond Stickles on the candle. I used Nestabilities long rectangle scallop for the mat under the image. There was enough layering that I popped it out on foam squares so it would be straight. I put silver brads in all corners for a little bling, and used a red and silver ribbon above the image. I used the bow paper on black inside, and stamped the little mouse with the balloon. The saying inside says "Everyone deserves a parade on their birthday! This parade is for you! Enjoy your 32nd!"

Hi there! This card was created for 2 SCS challenges: Tuesday's color challenge and today's sketch challenge. I used DCWV cardstock for my card. I used their version of Garden Green as the base of each panel. For the bottom panel I used "Baja Breeze" and embossed it with Cuttlebug's Swiss Dots folder. The second panel I used "Pacific Point" and embossed it with Cuttlebug's Spots and dots. I put a double ribbon around that panel under the image panel. I trible matted the image panel and popped it out on small pop dots. I colored the stamped image with Prisma colored pencils and Gamsol, the stamped it again, colored it and cut it out, popping it up on small pop dots. I used a Prima flower with a bow from the above mentioned ribbon in the center and popped it out on small pop dots. I finished the card with three blue rhinestones under the image. That's it!
