Cute Card Thurs #100, MAWTT #33, CCEE1007

This card was made for two challenges, but then i realized that it fit 3. But then I read MAWTT again after I made the card, and it was supposed to have "Mom" on it. I think I spaced that because I lost my mom 30 years ago. So it's a birthday card... but Mom could take the cake as well :-)

I used MAWTT's challenge #33, Sketch and Theme, combined it with Cute Card Thurs #100, to use Metal, and it fit CCEE 1007, something "sweet", and cake is sweet!

The image is Whipper Snapper. I colored it with Prisma color pencils and Gamsol. I layered brown, pink and yellow with BG's Sugared. I put little metal hinges on each end of the long layer, and metal brads on the image. The flower(s) are Prima with a metal brad in the center.

That's about it. No Nesties were used on this card :-). The yellow and pink cs are SU, and the brown is DCWV. Thanks a bunch for lookin'!

Peek-a-boo

I used CCEE's sketch to make this card for the Basic Grey challenge, to paper piece. I stamped the image, then stamped it again on each of the dp cardstock from BG's Urban Prairie. I used the pink for the hat and the "white" for the box. I found a feather from a pillow and stuck it on the hat! I used a pink Copic marker on the inside of the hat and Fluffle's nose. I cut the image out with Nestabilities ovals and the scallop from BG's pink. I put tiny pearls on the flowers on the pink side. The pink flower is from Hobby Lobby - Spare Parts, and the green is Primaflowers. Offray ribbon and Michaels pearl rhinestones completes the card. I had fun paper-piecing Fluffles!

Thanks a bunch for lookin'!

CCEEC

It's Friday afternoon! But since I've been staying home with my mom-in-law, every day is Saturday! I really don't miss working... now I have time and more energy to stamp! :-)

This card was made for Monday's CCEEC, a sketch challenge. I used DCWV cardstock, and I'm not sure of the dp. It's a pale pastel plaid. It's hard to see in this picture. I used blue rhinestones in the corners and a blue ribbon and blue flowers by Offray for accent. The cat is colored with Copics. This is a simple card, but I think it turned out kinda cute, what do you think?

Thanks for lookin' and have a wonderful weekend!
