This card was to use something fruity or food-related. I used BG's Two Scoops collection. Can you see the "strawberry" iced cupcakes? And the bowl of popcorn this cute CC Design image is holding? She's all ready for a pj movie party with her bear and popcorn. And of course there will be cupcakes and ice cream later! I colored her with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol and sponged around the image with chalk (I must have touched the black chalk and got a smudge on the paper) :( . I used Prima flowers and some buttons from my stash. I used a Fiskers border punch on the orange dp. I used all BG, no other cs except for the white card base. I cut the image out with Nesties label 4 (love that one).
That's it! Thanks a bunch for lookin'!

SFYTT021310
I'm very happy that Sketch For You To Try (SFYTT) is back! I made this card for the second February sketch. I thought about it during the night, I stewed about it this morning, and I finally put it together... I'm not real happy with it! Something is missing. I followed the sketch. Just can't figure out what's wrong!
I used cs from my stash, the dp is Creative Imaginations. The image is Whipper Snapper, colored with Prisma color pencils and Gamsol. I put a little "rose" over the flower she is holding. The border punch is Fiskers. I put lace around the curved part of the sketch. I used Kaiser pearls, Hot Pink and Latte.
That's about it. Thanks for lookin'. If you can think of what else it needs, please feel free to make suggestions!

Mojo83 Thanks
Hey, last one for today! This is for Mojo Monday Challenge 83, a sketch. I used K and Company Bailey papaer (both sides of one sheet) for the dp. The cs is DCWV. The image is my new Flourishes set of Violets. So pretty! First time to use it (just got it Monday) :). Colored with Copics. The decorative border is punched with a Fiskers border punch (is that redundant?). The ribbon is Offray. Thanks a bunch for lookin'!

MFTWT28 Who's That Girl?

For this challenge, we were to use two different punches on the project. I used a Fiskers corner punch and a border punch on the awning. I added hats to the girls from Stampendous. I cut out dp for the dresses and glued them on. The rest of the image is colored with Copics. I used DCWV cardstock for the main background. Not sure of the dp.
Some time I want to use real fabric for their dresses. I think that would make a really cute card! Wish I was that thin!!!
Thanks a bunch for lookin'!

High Hopes Challenge #24
This card is for High Hopes Challenge #24. I don't have any High Hopes stamps, so I used this cute image. I'll be back with the company...In Style Stamps. The challenge was to create borders. I used a Fiskers border punch, punching a single punch on each side of the card. I ran it through Cuttlebug's swiss dots embossing folder. I ran a ribbon (I've been wanting to use this ribbon... isn't it just gorgeous!) by BasicBasic from top to bottom, attached a bow at the bottom. I used the flowers from the cut out on the borders on each corner of the image. The image and mat are cut with Nestabilities regular rectangles and scallops. The image is colored with Copics: Y02, Y06 and Y11; BG10, 11, & 13, R11, YR02, E33, E35, C3 and C5, and G21. The card base is GA Pacific and the lilac and blue are DCWV.Thanks a bunch for lookin'!
Magnolia Vs Stampavie color challenge
This little card was made for Sunday's Magnolia vs Stampavie, a color challenge to use Red, Black, White and gray is optional. I used GA Pacific white card stock, Basic Grey's Cupcake red, and a general black piece of cardstock. The image is colored with Copics: R11, R14, , R27, E33, #35, C3 and C5 plus R00 for her skin. I scored the card using my Fiskers paper trimmer scoring attachment. The black pearls are from Kaiser Crafts. The image is cut with Nestabilities long rectangle and mounted on the long scallop. Simple card, but really cute (I love the image:)Thanks a bunch for lookin'!

VLVApr01
This card was made for Verve's sketch challenge with a twist: to use a sentiment stamp only. This is the first one for April (even tho' it's still March). I used Basic Grey for all papers (except card base) from Cupcake. I added a blue ribbon to match the blue background. The green behind the second panel is also BG. I used a Fiskers border punch for the lacy look. The image is cut with Nestabilities Ovals. I embossed it with Cuttlebug's Dots and Circles embossing folder, as with the first dp background. I popped the sentiment and bow up on foam dots. I finished the card with two Kaiser pearls. Simple card but I think it turned out rather pretty. Thanks a bunch for lookin'!
