This little house mouse is getting out of the rain! This is my favorite flower, the daffodil.
This card was to have more than one fold. This is my first bi-fold card. Wasn't too difficult!
I colored this image with Prisma color pencils and Gamsol. I used Diamond Stickles on the raindrops. I used a Fiskers corner punch on two of the corners and rounded the other two, placing yellow pearls from Kaiser. I also put a tiny yellow pearl in the center of the small flower. The cs is from my stash. All the dp is also from my stash. the base of the card is from SU.
That's it! Thanks for lookin'!

Belles n' Whistles combined with Roses on Paper #31

Hi! It's getting late on Thursday evening, and I just decided to make this card :) . This is for a challenge I just discovered on Monday: Belles n' Whistles combined with Roses on Paper. This is their 31st challenge. It's a color challenge to use Pink, Brown, and Cream. I used several shades of pink and brown when coloring this adorable Belles n' Whistles image. I colored his pants cream. It's hard to tell, but it's true :) . I used Prisma color pencils and Gamsol to color the image. All paper is from Basic Grey's Bittersweet, even the corner stickers. I used Martha Stewart's lacy hearts border punch on the mat at the bottom of the image. I put Summer Flower Soft on his bouquet of flowers, and used Stickles Fruit Punch on all the hearts (well, not the big one). I used the tiny hearts that resulted from the MS border punch and placed them around the image. I'm going to give this card to my hubby Sunday for Valentine's Day!
Belles n' Whistles images are really fun to color, and they are really adorable. I couldn't wait to use this cutie!
Thanks a bunch for lookin'!

2S4Y 44 Kickin' back

Happy Friday, all! This card was made for Monday's 2S4Y 44 sketch challenge. I have re-discovered Susie B. I love her cards! She is an awesome lady who makes incredible cards! She is my inspiration. I had "lost" her during my 6 month time away from card making. I re-discovered her this week. Check her out at HeartPrints.com.
This card features Penny Black's little bear, 3829H Kickin' . I colored him with Prisma color pencils and Gamsol. The paper is Making Memories Spring (plaid) and Mod 37080 Flower Dance (floral). The green and blue cs are SU. The ribbon is Offray, the pearls are Kaiser pink. I put Diamond stickles on the lemon and lemonade and Fruit Punch stickles on the flowers. The image is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black.

Have a Bunny Birthday!

Hi! :) This card is for two challeges: Today's Cute Card Thursday #95 challenge to make a pink and gray card, and MFT's WSC challenge to make a birthday card and not color the image.
I used papers from my stash. I did highlight the image with pink and Diamond stickles. I cut the image out with Nestabilities and put pink Kaiser pearls at each corner. The ribbon is from BasicBasic. I love this image from My Favorite Things. It is one of my favorites.
Thanks a bunch for lookin'!
