Hi! It's been a crazy time. I've been to Oregon with my mom-in-law, we celebrated her 99th birthday end of May. I am in Florida until the end of June when we are going to go pick her up (she has a caregivier with her) and bring her back to FL mid-July. Then I should be here. I made this card for my husband for Father's Day. The theme of this week's Sugar Bowl was love/weddings. No weddings coming up. But I wanted to express my love to my hubby as the father of our children. I used this adorable image from Sugar Nellie, colored it with Prisma Color Pencils and Gamsol. I cut the image out and popped it out with foam circles. The hearts are also popped out. The paper is from Basic Grey Mellow (wanted a masculine paper). The hearts and flower are also from BG Mellow. The sentiment is from Your Next Stamp. The brad is also from BG. Inside the flowers are from Prima flowers, the two rhinestones are Kaiser Craft, and the brads are from my stash. I cut the circles and inside with Nestabilities. The base blue paper is from Stampin' Up. Guess that's it. Thanks for lookin'!

The sentiment is from Flourishes. The yellow cs is Stampin' Up. I cut the image out with Nesties labels.
That's about it. Thanks for lookin'!

FTTC 99 and Mojo Monday
This card was made for Florishes Tuesday Challenge... their 99th challenge. Be watching for their 100th next week! I didn't plan to make two purple cards back to back, it just sorta happened. This paper is Basic Grey's Wisteria. I love this paper. The cs is SU. The rhinestones are KaiserCraft. I colored the cute spring image with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol. The sketch is from this week's Mojo Monday. That's about it. Thanks a bunch for lookin'!
Marlene's Sketch #50

I colored it with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol and cut it out with Nesties. The paper is DCWV Nana's boy. The pearls are KaiserCraft. The ribbon is from my stash. The cs is SU. New Beginnings
Spring and flowers always signify new beginnings for me. So I chose this Gruffies stamp with the Wheelbarrow and potted plant to signify New Beginnings for spring... even though it's still a long way off! I colored with Copics. The paper is Making Memories English Garden and the ribbon is also MM. I used the sketch from Sketch N' Stash #52. I used my Nesties Oval scallop to cut out the image and popped it up on foam dots. That's it. Thanks a bunch for lookin'!
Happy Birthday Kathy
Hi! I made this card for one of my oldest and dearest friends, Kathy. Her birthday is the 7th. This is for Whiff of Joy's 94th challenge. I like Kim's sketch for this challenge. I used SU cs red and Basic Grey dp. The flowers are Prima and the pearls are KaiserCraft. The ribbon is Offray. I colored the image(s) with Copics. I Stamped Willow then covered the image and stamped the chair using my Stamp-a-majig for the very first time! (I've had it for months) I used the stiped paper to look like wallpaper. I cut the stripes out using Nesties Label 16 the largest one. I cut out the chair and Willow and popped them up on foam squares. Think it turned out ok.

Thoughts of school
I love fall, and I always enjoyed going back to school. I was raised in the country and we didn't have alot of activities to keep us involved. Swimming lessons was about it. So school was my social network.
I made this card for Belles n' Whistles Back to School and followed the sketch from CPS #182.
This little girl seems happy about the coming season (we'll pretend she's thinking about fall and school :-D). I colored her in fall colors (which I love) and sponged around the image with red chalk. I used a cute button from a stash I've had awhile. The little chalkboard says 1/2 = 2/4. The paper is K&Co. The stripes are on the reverse of the floral print. The ribbon is Offray.
I just love Belles n' Whistles stamps/images. (I think I've said that before!) Thanks a bunch for lookin'!

OCCSC30 and Color Create #52
This card was made for OCCSC #30 sketch challenge and Color Create #52 to use pastels: Lilac, yellow and mint. I had this dp from Stampin'Up that was perfect! The image fit the sketch well. I love yellow roses, so that was a no-brainer! The coloring is with Prisma color pencils and Gamsol. I used Nesties Ovals and scallop to cut and mat the image. I popped it up on spongs squares. The ribbon is Offray (isn't the match great!). The buttons are Basic Grey and the pearls are Recollections. The cs is also SU. The image is from my daughter's stash... I want to say Whipper Snapper, but I'm not sure. That's it! Thanks a bunch for lookin'!
Friday Sketchers #117
This card was made for Friday Sketchers #117. I used a Whipper Snapper Design image and colored it with Prisma color pencils and Gamsol. I cut the image out with a Nesties Oval. I used a Martha Stewart Border Punch wide to make the "trellis" look. The dp is from Karen Foster and the flowers are Prima and Recollection. The tan background paper is SU and the orange is DCWV. Very simple. Thanks a bunch for lookin'!
Two Challenges
I couldn't find my battery charger for my camera! I looked "everywhere", but it was not to be found. I even went to Best Buy to price their chargers... $42! So I came home and looked some more. I decided to check my husband's drawer, that he "had just looked in there." I scanned around the drawer, and low and behold! There it was. So I charged my battery, and now I'm displaying my cards that I finished last night.
This little card was made for two challenges: The Greeting Farm and Totally PaperCraft #31.
The Greeting Farm had a sketch to follow. This is what I came up with. I of course used a Greeting Farm image and colored it with Prisma color pencils and Gamsol, and cut it out with Nesties Oval and matted it on Nesties Oval Scallop. I used Basic Grey's LilyKate dp and SU cs. The yellow ribbon is from my stash and the pink is from Celebrat It. The buttons are Basic grey. The flower is Prima and the pearls are Kaiser Craft. I sponged around the image with yellow chalk.
The challenge for Totally Papercraft #31 was Plain and Simple. This is pretty plain and quite simple. Thanks a bunch for lookin'!

Challenge 42 Lilian's Sketch
Second card of the night. I just finished this cute card for The Sugar Bowl's Sketch Challenge #42, Lilian's Sketch. Great sketch, Lilian! I turned the sketch so my image would fit. I used Sugar Nellie's Purrfect Playmates. this is the first time I've inked it up. I colored it with Prisma color pencils and Gamsol, cut it out with Nesties label and sponged the edge with chalk. I used Basic Grey's LilyKate paper and the cs is SU. The tiny 1/2 pearls are from The Paper Studio. I placed pearls on the "dots" of the MS border punch, and I also placed one on the center of the yoyo. A pretty simple card. Thanks a bunch for lookin'!
#86 Jane's Sketch
Hi! It's Thursday evening, and a bit of thunder rumbling around. Rained earlier. Here is my take on Whiff of Joy's Sketch #86 by Jane. I've had this little pad of DCWV Nana's Nursery for boys for over 2 years, and was going to use it in a scrapbook. But I decided since I'm making cards and not scraping... why not use it?! I think it made a really pretty card. What do you think? I used my new Shopping Willow along with my new phrases, Fun in the Sun. I thought this one fit :-) . The image was colored with Prisma color pencils and Gamsol and totally cut out. I cut the circle with Nesties circle and scallop. Then I popped the image up on foam squares. The sentiment is popped up on smaller foam circles. The cs is DCWV. The flowers are Prima, and the ribbon is Offray. This was a fun sketch and a fun card to make. Thanks a bunch for lookin'!
Belles n' Whistles anything goes!
Well, it's already Thursday! Even not working the weeks fly by! I thought about this card a couple days and had it finished yesterday, but was in a funk, and didn't feel like doing much of anything. So, today it goes up! The challenge for this week's Belles n' Whistles was "anything goes". I love this image, but it's a bit large. It's hard to use with normal challenges. So I pulled it out and inked it up and colored it with Prisma color pencils and Gamsol. I cut it out with my largest Nesties scallop rectangle. I then sponged around the image with chalk. The blue paper is embossed with Cuttlebug Swirls to look like clouds :-) and the green is from Making Memories. The flower(s) is the sun :-). The brad is from my stash. The 1/2 pearls are from Recollections. That's about it. Thanks a bunch for lookin'! Have a great rest of Thursday.

Belles n' Whistles Warm fall colors
I love all things Elisabeth Bell, and her Belles n' Whistles stamps are no exception! This cute image was just about gone, and I snapped it up! It's just perfect for this challenge. I love scarecrows (that's probably why I wanted this image :-)), and I colored it with my Prisma color pencils and Gamsol. I cut the image out with my largest Nesties square. Then I sponged around the edge of the square with chalk. The flowers are Prima and the buttons are Basic Grey. The ribbon is Offray. The dp is K & Co, and the cs is SU. I popped the flowers up on foam squares.
That's it! Thanks a bunch for lookin'!

House Mouse #76 - a photo for inspiration
Hi, and happy Friday evening! I am uploading 3 cards tonight. I was a little slow on the down load for this card. I used last Friday's sketch for Friday Sketchers but didn't get it uploaded until tonite. Oh well...
This is House Mouse's challenge #76, to make a card using this photo as inspiration. It's too cute :-).
I didn't have a HM stamp with any kind of cupcake, so I picked this one up at our Hobby Lobby this week. It's Make a Wish 02 with Amanda and Monica. I colored it with Copics and cut it out with Nesties rectangles. The flowers are Prima and the cs is SU. The dp is from my stash. I sponged around the edge of the image with chalk. The button and rhinestone are from my stash. The ribbon is Offray. That's about it! Thanks a bunch for lookin'!

CPS 180 Part 1
This card was made for the following sketch for Sunday's CPS sketch challenge, 180 part 1. When I looked at this sketch, I couldn't quite figure out what to do with it. But when I looked at the DT's fabulous samples, I knew what I wanted to do!
I just felt like doing a fall card, and this image from Stampin'Up was just the right size for the challenge sketch and perfect for a fall card. I haven't used this paper before although I've had it awhile. It is by Karen Foster Design. I just picked up these flowers Sunday afternoon at Michael's 4 hour 25% off your entire purchase sale. And two of the ribbons. The Flowers are Recollections and Prima. The ribbons are Michael's and Offray. The cs is DCWV. I colored the image with Prisma color pencils and Gamsol and sponged around tht image with chalk. That stark white just didn't cut it! I cut the image with Nesties circle and scallop.
That's about it. Thanks for lookin'!

Door hanger
The ribbon and flowers are really yellow, but they look an odd shade of green in the photo! Bummer.
I made this door hanger for this week's Whiff of Joy Challenge. It's the first time I've made one. It was really kinda fun! I used this sweet image of Melinda with flowers. I colored her with Prisma color pencils and Gamsol to match the dp (from my stash). The image is cut with Nesties Label 2. The ribbon is from my stash. The flowers are Prima and the 1/2 pearls are Kaiser Craft. The cs is from my stash. I sponged around the edge of the image with chalk. Simple and sweet! Thanks for lookin'!

Penny Black #114, Basic Grey #26, Sketch Saturday #116
Hi! Saturday is almost over, but I wanted to get this card posted. I made this card for three challenges: Penny Black #114, Feeling Fruity. I don't have any PB stamps with fruit on them, so I colored the frosting strawberry :-); Basic Grey #26 to use pearls. I used red Kaisercraft 1/2 pearls on the corners of the image and also on the little strip on the left side, top and bottom; I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday #116. I colored the image with Prisma color pencils and Gamsol and cut it out with Nesties rectangles scallop and mounted it on the next size up rectangle. I used Basic Grey's Nook and Pantry paper and SU green cs and DCWV red cs. I think that's it. Thanks a bunch for lookin'!

The Sugar Bowl #41 Marleni's Sketch
This seems to be one of the most used Sugar Nellie stamps by Elisabeth Bell. I've seen her on many cards. I finally ordered her and this is the first time I've inked her up (new). This card is made using a sketch by Marleni and an optional theme to use something old or something new. I ended up using something of both. I colored the image with Prisma color pencils and Gamsol. I cut it out with Nesties circle. I used a Nesties flower to mount the image with. I separated the dp (Basic Grey's Nook and Pantry) with a white Offray ribbon. I used tiny 1/2 pearls from my stash on various points of the "flower". I used Prima flowers and nested red, white and red, with a white 1/2 pearl in the center (from my stash). The red paper is DCWV (I've had it quite awhile... old).
