Easter means new life and new beginnings

Ok, last post for today. I get to wandering around the blogs looking at this and that, and before I know it, time has passed and I don't get any cards done! My excuse this time, though, is that I was at my daughter's Saturday and Sunday, so I had to catch up today :-). This card was made for 2S4Y's sketch challenge and Stampavie to make an Easter card. I didn't mean for this one to be so brown, but I like it! To me, Easter is new life, Jesus raised from the dead to new life, and as a Christian, we are raised to new life at baptism. So these tiny chicks represent new life. I colored this Sarah Kay image with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol and sponged it with chalks. The dp paper is Basic Grey, and the cs is a combo of SU and my stash. The punches are MS. I cut the image out with Nesties long rectangle scallop. That's it. Thanks a bunch for lookin'!
