House Mouse Challenge #25 4 leaf clover!

Hi! This little mouse must be Irish... he was lucky enough to find a four leaf clover (do you know how hard they are to find???). I bought this image awhile ago just for St. Patty's Day (yes, I'm a large part Irish). I used green and white paper, using 2 different Cuttlebug embossing folders, one for the top and one for the bottom white. On the top, I used Paisley, and took an ink pad and lightly colored the raised images. I used green Offray ribbon and a green flower (that I bought for St. Patty's Day :-) ). I put the green Kaiser pearls on the image itself and put a green Nesties scalloped border around it. I put white dots around the scalloped edges. I put the whole image on foam dimintionals to pop it out. I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol. I must admit, this image was tricky to color! It's very detailed with the clover leaves and stems. I couldn't resist doing this challenge, since I had the mouse image and I loved the sketch! Thanks a bunch for lookin'!

  1. From one Irish-girl to another, your St. Patty's day mouse is adorable and you could never tell that our little mousy friend was difficult to color since you did such a fab job!

  2. Hello Linda, you've made a gorgeous card (green's my favorite colour) and you've coloured it so well. I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds these stamps hard to colour, but they look so lovely when they're done. You asked about the HM video on my blog and I've posted a "tutorial" for you. Have fun :)
    Take care & keep smiling
